Figure Four Suffering The Loss

This cd is boring as Hell. It's as redundant as having a president named "Bush". It's as uncreative as your aunt's bumper sticker.
Honestly, it doesn't take much for a cd to at least capture my interest. This one doesn't. And when I'm driving I can listen to anything. But this cd even bored me to tears while driving.
Figure Four is a hardcore band. They've been in the business a while. I expected at least something to redeem this album. But now it seems they are just parodies of the genre. The music is low "chugga chugga" hardcore. Every song sounds the same. Same pace, same guitar tone, same annoying as hell vocals.
The only positive aspect for this cd is that they have a chic guitar player. Girls in hardcore rock. However, that doesn't save this cd from a lifetime of serving me as a drink coaster.

I saw Figure Four play an inpromptue show here in the Peg a few weeks ago, probably the last time they'll ever be on stage together... Pure chaos ensued... I dunno bout everywhere else but they got more of a crowd reaction than just about any bigger named hc bands that've come thru here... You were right about one thing though, their guitar player (Metal Mel) is hot as hell!
