New Lyle Lovett album due

From Billboard:

Lyle Lovett will release "My Baby Don't Tolerate," Sept. 30 as his first album for Lost Highway Records. The singer/songwriter co-produced the set with frequent collaborator Billy Williams and recorded at O'Henry Sound Studios in Burbank, Calif. The title track will serve as the album's first radio single.

This will be his first full-fledged studio album since Road to Ensenada in 1996.

Unreformed hawkish Hoosier hillbilly and sometimes candidate Al Barger runs the still squeezin' down the psychodelic Kentucky moonshine at MoreThings.com, what with the paranoid religious visions and the Pentacostal music and visions of God and anarchy running amok and such. Somebody oughta call the cops to report his out of control freedom of conscience. Till they come to take him away somewhere where he can't hurt anyone else, you can check out his weekly column of NEW ALBUM RELEASES.

I'm kinda disappointed that Lyle hasn't spent his time in between albums writing the "How To Get Women Who Look Like Julia Roberts To Marry Guys Who Look Me For Dummies"

I do like his soundtrack for "Dr. T and The Womem" however (gotta negotiate with my local video store for that disc, they have it on the discount rack, but it's a 2f1 and the rest of the titles are crap i wouldn't rent, nevermind buy), and he did get his leg broke by a bull down on the ranch and somesuch.
