Zenyatta Mondatta - The Police

The best Police record? Dunno. In fact, in my mind I go back and forth trying to figure out which is my favorite Police record. Today it's this one. Love the sparse sound and killin' drums.

DEFINITELY the highlight of their career. This was the first of the remasters I bought, figuring I would probably only listen to this one the majority of the time. I bought the three previous albums, but I was right - ZM gets most of my attention. What a great recording - Copeland's drums come alive on a good stereo, with that snappy snare, sizzling cymbals, and sharp kick drum. Damn, I wish I'd brought this with me today . . . !
