Silence of the Lambs: the musical version

No, I'm not kidding. I've not heard the whole thing yet (about half the songs are only up in sample form anyway), but I have played the second track, "If I Could Smell Her Cunt", and, well... I frankly don't know what to say. Listen for yourself.

I am not a big expert on musicals by any means - most seem stilted and artificial to me and kind of pointless since I don't usually like most of the music - but it seems like Sondheim opened up the subject matter which musicals could take on, like a murderous barber. Nowadays, there seems no boundaries at all, but most of the music still sucks.

Whatever Eric. Where else can you see bad acting, horrible choreography, over the top diction, and flamboyancy to the point that it is nauseating, on a stage, for way too much money?

I guess you just aren't very cultured.
