Russian lesbian jailbait pop music experiment fails

Looks like Tatu are heading for a split. One of the girls is unhappy at having to play second fiddle to the other, and, more crucially, the other now has a boyfriend. Which kind of defeats the whole purpose of the group, doesn't it. Well, it was nice while it lasted even if no one did believe it...

I don't believe your LIES against Tatu. They're in love. Didn't you see the video? C'mon.

As a marketing move, I find "creating" a young lesbian duo inexplicable, although obviously it worked to a certain extent. I have exactly zero erotic interest in lesbians and am absolutely flummoxed why any straight man would. Masochism? Why be interested - THAT way, I mean - in people who have no interest in you?

Eric's "why" really isn't a very good question here. "Why" do you feel that way generally isn't. Emotions are in instinctive, pre-rational function. You mostly don't decide to feel this way or that. You just do.

Now, what you THINK about something logically you can dissect more: here is my rationale, reasons 1, 2, 3.

I don't have an answer for this "why," but it's definitely NOT masochism, or self-abuse (well, not "self-abuse" of the mental variety). I don't know of any straight guy who would say anything like that.

I guess it was a rhetorical question, but it is my impression that therre actually are a surprisingly large number of straight men who for whatever psychological reason DO seek abuse.

I'd guess the appeal to men would be the lolita image paired of with the image of two young girls exploring their sexuality (what a term...). There are all these fantasies of teen girls kissing their best girlfriend and touch each other, because they "practise" for the guys (I've never done this and find it kind of *yuck*, but I guess it's pretty common). Seem like Tatu put that on stage. Basically. But then again, it doesn't interest me in the least *yawn*.
