Spousal Unit is a huge M&ouml;t&ouml;rhead fan, so I got us tickets eons ago to one of those big metal-music festivals. When we arrived, we saw a sign posted on the concert venue's gate: Due to a sudden accident the day of the show, bandleader Lemmy was not able to perform. The show went on -- we got to see Judas Priest, Alice Cooper, Dangerous Toys, and some lame-ass metalers, but SU was distraught. Happily, I was able to snag tickets to a later show at New jersey's Meadowlands, and the spouse finally had a lifelong dream fulfilled. But SU's grief is what I remember from the incident. Thank goodness it all ended well.
