MP3.com to Close

First the European arm will shut down, then the US division will be sold off. Earlier this month it looks like they stopped some hi-fi streaming.

I've been using MP3.com since 1999, posting my own music (Seth W.) and some others. Labels have taken to posting their music there as well, and the indie bands hop on to get some exposure on the charts. Now all this comes to an end it seems.

Unbelievable eh? I was also left speechless. I was invited to join newmusicweb.com by a friend musician. Not much of a site for now... we shall see... GOod luck to all "former" mp3.com'ites!!
