You can take the Americans out of work but you can't take the work out of the Americans

The Repulicans have a proposal to restrict overtime pay for white-collar Americans while allowing lower-paid workers to qualify for overtime. Katherine Lugar, vice president for legislative affairs at the National Retail Federation, argues, "On balance, the proposed regulations do a very good job bringing our workplace regulations into the 21st century."

Yet, with America already the most over worked, stressed out and over weight nation, the Republicans need to remember the Puritain work ethic that makes us capitalist, them Republican and this proposal ineffective, only adding more stress to citizens in a struggling economy.
