Glastonbury Webcast

The famous Glastonbury Festival is online for your dining and dancing pleasure, including webcasts of a number of acts:

The virtual festival gates are now OPEN!

If you haven't managed to snag a ticket, there's no need to fret (and there's certainly no need to jump the fence - that means YOU) - PlayLouder's got all the Glastonbury you need right here, and you've got all the toilet paper you need right there. Alright, so we haven't got any ley lines, but you can hang up some crystals and burn some joss sticks or something - you'll hardly notice the difference, honest.

Stake out your spot and hold on to your henna tattoos and get ready for the best fest of the summer. There'll be up-to-the-minute Glastonbury NEWS, REVIEWS, and shedloads of COMPETITIONS to win loads of gear - sorry, not THAT kind - from Glastonbury Festivals and the bands gracing its hallowed fields. There'll be INTERVIEWS with loads of famous people, pissed people, and insane people - and in some cases they'll be all three.

We'll also WEBCAST performances from both the Pyramid and Other stages in FULL for your interwebbing pleasure -

FRIDAY: David Gray, Idlewild, Suede, and Electric Six.
SATURDAY: Super Furry Animals, Flaming Lips, Supergrass, and Interpol.
SUNDAY: Doves, Sigur Ros, Feeder, and Macy Gray.

You're not going to see the full performances anywhere else except at the festival itself, so whether you can't get to Worthy Farm or are just too damn fond of indoor plumbing, this is the place to be.

If you're more for the audio'n'audience'participation end of things, then you could do no better then our VIRTUAL DANCE TENT - a first for 2003, so if you shake those cans hard enough, you might just see it every year...

FRIDAY: Mint Royale, Har Mar Superstar, and Patrick Forge.
SATURDAY: Chungking, Themroc, Alan Thompson, and Ben Dellow.
SUNDAY: DJ Format, Misstress Barbara, Dave Angel, and DJ Heaven.

There's a couple things you'll need for the full Glastonbury 2003 Online experience. One of them is a computer with an internet connection, which we won't spend any more time on because you obviously already have that bit sorted. The other thing is a RealPlayer for watching the webcasts and interviews and for listening to the Virtual Dance Tent.

I'm watching David Gray right now - not bad for free. Check the site for performance times and other goodies.

If you really want to replicate the experience you and whomever you live with mustnt wash for a few days prior. Then during the festival you must go outside and jump around in mud puddle for a 30 mins or so.

Key points for a truly "interactive" experience, Thanks!
