Let's face it. One has more of a chance of contracting a dis-ease by hanging out with the Rolling Stones as opposed to catching SARS from, say, riding the subway in Toronto, Ontario. Now, artists such as Justin Timberlake (who just earlier this month no-showed in Vancouver on the Stripped/Justified tour) will join the aging Stones in a benefit to boost the ailing Toronto economy. Tickets have been reported to cost only 20 dollars. Bands will not be paid, this is only to cover set up fees and raise money.

"We're very happy to tell you we're coming to play on July 30 in a great concert for the people and city of Toronto to help bring back the energy to our favourite city,'' frontman Mick Jagger said.

The relationship with Toronto and The Stones is not a new one. The Stones have been known to play surprise practice gigs at Toronto's El Mocambo club before kicking off full tours.
