just picked it up this afternoon. it's certainly a return to an 'older' style of their music. lots of start & stop riffing. weird bits: the sound is defintely not up to stuff like the "Black Album"...the bass is kinda weak and the drums, well, don't know what happened there. oh ya, and NO guitar solos. hmmm.... ]]>

I know one fan they've won back.... The CD (I haven't finished listening to it....) isn't a 100% return to style, but it's strong (so far) but the VALUE.... it's amazing. A CD, DVD & THREE live shows (I've heard there are plans for more stuff in the "vaults" later.) I'll be writing my own piece on it (you beat me to it..), but I wanted to to throw my hat in the ring. ]]>
