Sony Music Nashville slashes artist roster in half from the company's four imprints - Columbia, Epic, Monument, Lucky Dog - as industry cost-cutting continues:

Dropped were Pam Tillis, Mark Chesnutt, Tammy Cochran, BlackHawk, Billy Gilman, Michael Peterson, Cledus T. Judd, Brad Martin, Clint Daniels, Little Big Town, and Wynn Varble.

....New to the roster is Rodney Crowell ... Remaining at Sony are Mary Chapin Carpenter, Travis Tritt, Montgomery Gentry, Patty Loveless, Dixie Chicks, Charlie Robison, Marty Stuart, the Derailers, Buddy Jewell, and Colt Prather. [Billboard]

I used to listen to the Derailers play at the Continental Club in Austin, Texas in the mid-90s. They were great.
