Compilations--you either love them, or you hate them. I am more of a hate them kind of guy, and yet, popping in disc 1 of the 2-disc Warped Tour 2003 CD set, I was pleasantly surprised.

This compilation has good bands. Along with the good bands included on this 2-CD set, there are—get this—good songs. I know, in this crazy, mediocre world of half way done, crappy music, the idea of good bands singing good songs is a foreign one. Thank you Side One Dummy Records for putting the fun back in punk. This compilation is not only one to be enjoyed again and again, but should be one that all record labels should listen to before they put together a compilation filled with 90% wasted space. Good job guys, I am excited to go to Warped Tour this year if the talent showcased on this compilation is what I have to look forward to.
