Courtney about the sign with Virgin. I hear she's signing with Virgin because there is no label called "Drug Slut" (just kdding Court, we love ya):
- The rocker is in advanced negotiations to sign with Virgin Records, sources said. If the deal is closed, Virgin will release "America's Sweetheart," Love's first solo album since her former group Hole's disbandment. Sources said the new album includes numerous songs Love co-wrote with 4 Non Blondes' Linda Perry, who also has collaborated with Pink.
....The artist was scheduled to play the U.K.'s Reading and Leeds festivals in August but has canceled those plans in favor of work on the new album. [Hollywood Reporter]

I'm perhaps one of the few, but I don't think she has nearly the talent people give her credit for. Since her albums sell, obviously I'm wrong, but I still can't shake the feeling that everybody pretends to be disgusted by her behavior but listens to her music for almost no other reason.
Put another way, a non-drug slut without the widow status but with the same musical talent probably wouldn't get much attention at all.
