Robbie the Rocker?

CMU reports:

Irish band Ash is to support Robbie Williams when he plays his mammoth
sell-out gigs at Knebworth Park this summer.

Helping Robbie entertain the 325,000 fans will also be CMU favourites, The
Darkness - who's forthcoming LP 'Permission To Land' is set to take the
world by storm.

With his hard-rock entourage, Williams sold out his two planned weekend
dates on 2 Aug and 3 Aug in less than eight hours so another date was
quickly added.

Marty: Well he may have bombed in North America again but his home fans still love the "cheeky chappy". Robbie deep down has always been a rocker more than a popster. He got their attention with the track 'Let me Entertain You' and its accompanying video. The video gives a nod to Kiss and Alice Copper. Besides that, if Queen ever do anything else as a group, Robbie will probably get the nod for vocalist.

Marty's band, Growing Old Disgracefully, can be found at: Disgraceful Music. His Cthulhu tales can be found at Temple of Dagon.
