Hey you know what? The DNA evidence might come back inconclusive and it none of this will have made a difference. This was a botched case from the
beginning. Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley didn't get a fair day in court and that?s not right and if you're down with this program then you're standing up for justice. They've been hanging out in prison for ten years and all you have to do is come to the show and have a great time as you know you will and you will have made a huge difference to three people who have absolutely no recourse now other than to depend on the will of good people to do the right thing. And that would be you, right? Please join us this summer.

Should be a bone-crushing night. I've seen Rollins Band a ton of times and they have NEVER, EVER failed to rock out hard and heavy. Rollins Band playing all Black Flag songs with Keith Morris himself on hand? Well.... you do the math. Top that off with the fact that every dollar is going to the WM3 Defense fund and you'll be helping to ensure that justice is served.

Like Henry, I don't know that these three boys are innocent or guilty. I just know they didn't get their fair day in court. Every time I put myself in that place in my mind, I shudder. For more information on the plight of the West Memphis Three, you can visit the website. I highly recommend reading the excellent book Devil's Knot: The True Story Of The West Memphis Three by Mara Levitt as well. The author's message can be found on the aforementioned website:

The more I learned, the more I became convinced that it raises issues of historic proportions. In 1999, I decided that those issues deserved the attention of a book. I resolved to report that much talked-about 'truth' of what happened, whether it supported the verdicts of guilt, as Arkansas officials insisted it would, or pointed to the WM3's innocence. My research was, as you might imagine, intriguing. And, despite my familiarity with the case, much of what I uncovered left me slack-jawed in amazement. I named the book Devil's Knot. In one sense, the title refers to the bindings that held the murder victims. But in a larger sense, it represents the bindings that hold, not only Jessie, Damien, and Jason, but all of us, when justice is perverted.
