I've been doing a 12 page essay on how rap has a negative affect on pre-teens. During all of my research I have found nothing that says rap is not violent. Matter of fact the rappers themselves say that rap is violent. This just proves to people that rap is very violent and is bad. Rap isnt bad Completely though. Visiting many sites and performing multitudes of experiments, I have noticed that listening to violent music increases the release of dopamine, which is often associated with rewards. In males, brain scans (CAT) showed increased brain activity in the pleasure center, as well as more function of the frontal and prefrontal lobes. Put into English, Violent music is REWARDING for people to listen to.
