I'm sure this will be spun as a victory for the XX chromosome. But it's not.

She lost. She didn't make the cut. Even though she entered the event via the backdoor, she still couldn't hold her own. She only beat 11 players. And she's the best women's golf has to offer.

Sorry, ladies. Try again next century.

Put another way, she beat 11 of the best male golfers in the world. If I was the 160th best golfer in the world (a debatable point, I know), I think I'd feel pretty good.

I still say that if all the players play from the same tee by the same rules, more power to them.
