Remember Robert Burrows, author of The Great American Parade? Back before the bastards at Google/Blogger decided they could no longer be arsed to make archives work properly (thus rendering a number of my Blogspot archive pages inaccessible, so this link may or may not be functioning when you come to it), I hailed a Washington Post interview with him as possibly the best interview with anyone ever. If you missed it before, read it now, or else read it again if you did see it before. The book itself is now available for free online.

You can order a paper copy of the book from the same website that has the free electronic copy. Got to:
http://www.lulu.com/americanparade

The shipping charges to the UK may be steep, but the book is only five or six dollars.
