American Idol Misses It's Big Kodak Moment

NEWS FLASH: Seacrest has mentioned in interviews this week that next season, American Idol will air FIVE NIGHTS A WEEK! WHAAAAAAAT???? Are these people crazy? Do they not know what the term OVERKILL means? Did they not take a clue from the fellas over at the Millionaire show???? LISTEN TO ME FOX EXECUTIVES - YOU TAKE THE SHOW TO FIVE NIGHTS A WEEK AND AMERICA WILL GROW TIRED OF YOUR LITTLE MIRACLE ON TELEVISION! If I may borrow the words from our reigning queen, Miss Kelly Clarkson, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
Tonight is the big night! I am on the edge of my seat counting down the minutes. I cannot wait to get home from work to watch the red carpet presentation. I anxiously anticipate all of the glitz and glamour that surrounds the big finales for the greatest show on television!!!!!!
SHAZAM! We are in the same usual American Idol Arena on the lot at FOX and Seacrest introduces the show! WAIT A MINUTE! Did he just say they were at the Universal Amphitheatre? ARE YOU KIDDING ME RYAN???? Where is his tuxedo? Where are all of the movie stars? Where are all of the stage effects???? It looks EXACTLY LIKE THE SAME STUPID STAGE WE SEE EVERY WEEK!!!!! Are you people kidding me? The camera pans the amphitheatre and it looks cheap and boring. Where are the balconies for the judges? Where is the grand majestic feeling the Kodak Theater brought us for last season's finale? I feel cheated and betrayed! SOMEONE NEEDS TO FIRE THE THINK TANK BEHIND THIS DISASTER! TALK ABOUT BLOWING THE BIG ONE! This is the biggest flop since Geraldo opened Al Capone's empty vault!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He introduces the judges who are sitting in their USUAL spots, albeit in a larger venue! Again, they are NOT in the balconies at the Kodak Theater where there fat rich butts belong! SIGH! Oh and the biggest star tonight was James Worthy - whoopdeedoo!
Well, at least I get to look forward to the head to head competition! After all, that is what really counts the most. I am starting to get anxious again. I am looking forward to hearing Clay and Ruben sing the two new singles that are written specially for the finalists. Last year the finalists each sang two new songs written to be released ("Before Your Love" and "A Moment Like This"). Then they were allowed to choose one showstopper of their choice. AMERICA - we were cheated again!!!!! These two sang three random songs - and neither sang the same song! How are we supposed to make the true comparison??? UGH! We are in for a bumpy ride folks which concludes with a silly rendition of "My Way" by Paul Anka. I prefer the E-bay theme!

Very nice RC, a worthy rendition of a complex phenomena - I thought Clay won the night but Ruben won the competition. He was favored all along but Clay nearly pulled it out. Are there no Idol heads out there??
