Project Bio Bus

A group of college kids are heading home after finals and planning to do it with a roadtrip across the country. Sounds fairly normal, except this roadtrip has a twist. The group's mode of transportation will be a bus that is fueled by veggie oil (which are thrown away by restaurants after use). They're not the first to do it (Joshua Tickell was probably the first), but it's a worthy thing to note never the less. Their journey started on the 19th of this month from Middlebury, VT as indicated on their website and will end on the June 11th in Conway, WA . They've also made mention of documenting their journey through an online journal, which should be an interesting read. However, there aren't any entries yet (I'm assuming because they just started), so I suppose we'll have to stay tuned.
