Captain Kirk wins coveted Worst Beatles Cover award

William Shatner's immortal rendition of "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" has been voted the worst Beatles cover ever. Digital TV channel Music Choice hosted the poll, and the top ten are listed in the linked article. I was a little surprised to find "Help" by Bananarama in the list; it's not exactly good, no, but that was the point of it. You could argue the same of Shatner's tune as well, since I don't think anyone knows how serious he was being on The Transformed Man...
