With Friends Like These, Who Needs Enemies?
Published May 08, 2003
Glenbrook North High school girls are tough, man. What was supposed to be a powder puff football game between their junior and senior class girls turned into something you'd see at a Bad Luck 13 show. Girls got punched, kicked, smacked around, and doused with poop and paint... amongst other things. One girl left with a broken ankle. Another was bleeding from the head. Another had 10 stitches.
Some of these chicks might be getting pressed with criminal charges, since this is getting treated as a hazing. The school isn't taking responsibility, they quit sponsoring this annual tradition back in like 1980. Parents are pissed. And the boys are scared. I don't blame them.
