Totanews reports:
Metallica have just filmed a video for the title track of new album "St. Anger" at the infamous St. Quentin Prison in California. But they had to pay a price. In exchange for persmission to shot the video there, the band will perform a hour-long set before a captive audience on May 1. In further band info,Metallica are to play three shows in Paris on June 11. They happen at La Boule Noir, Le Bataclan and Le Trabendo. This is two days after the band?s new album, "St. Anger", is released.
Marty: Well the band have a lot to prove to their loyal fans. Convincing this tough crowd might help the band's cause. A large numbers of fans are peeved with Metallica for the package tour that is happening this summer. It see Metallica team up with several Nu Metal bands like Limp Bizkit. No doubt some clever marketing man's idea of perfect "package". I, for one, would not be interested in sitting through 3 crap bands to see Metallica and paying a great deal of dosh to do so to boot.
