SHOVE Your PC Garbage

When is enough, enough. How far does this PC garbage have to go? When are we going to go back to the time when adults were expected to behave as adults instead having to follow some rulebook so as to not offend the plethora of special interest groups, cliques labels, etc...? Everyone screams how they belong to something. Constantly we are being warned about what we say and how we say it as that it might "offend" someone.

When are adults going to act like adults and stop the hand holding?

What has set me off? A few things actually:

1) I posted in a forum somewhere how "I" though that genital hair was gross when you decided to have a genital piercing. I got bombarded with 1001 emails from all the girls about how I was "offending" a lot of people. How it's un-pc for me to post something like that. How I am behaving in a "conformist" manner... (Always the first thing out of the mouths of children and people who believe themselves belonging to the "non-conformist" group. Which when you think about it, is an oxymoron... You are not apart of the conformist group... but you are a "non-conformist". Excuse me. Label. Hello? What about being an individual. Must be to scary to stand on your own and stick to what you believe in without some sort of label to identify and take strength in? I think even John Lydon, the "King of the Punks" would be offended by what these "non-conformists" and "punk rawkers" are spouting these days. I think he was all about saying whatever you wanted to? ) Etcetera ad nausea. (Forgive me, Mr. Lydon if I am wrong.)

Look, tell me that I can't have my opinion and state it is telling me to conform to your rules. So long as I am not physically hurting you, taking food from the mouths of your children and you are merely "offended"... GET OVER IT. People get offended everyday and until people stop having feelings, people are still going to get offended. You can't please everyone all the time. Deal with it.

Miss Victoria-

Reading your strong-willed and sharply worded comments above, and seeing your picture has convinced me that you are indeed a wicked, wicked whore.

Jesus hates you very much. Indeed, I can feel him wanting to rise up and rebuke you RIGHT NOW. The more I stare at your picture, the madder Jesus gets. He's SPITTIN' MAD!

Just know that we'll be keeping an eye on you and your whoredoms.

PS Jesus wants to see more pictures.

ROCK ON!!! Keep on saying whatever you want. There is such a thing as a difference between censorship and consideration, and I think you definitely know how to walk along the fine line. Screw anyone else who disagrees, cos just like they're entitled to their own opinion, so the fuck are you! (Johnny Rotten is my hero.)

The problem with PC is that because it stems from "good intentions" it is allowed to run roughshod over common sense and free speech. I would distinguish between burning crosses and swastikas in this country due to our history: the parallel would be to swastikas in Germany, where they are banned.

I'm not willing to give PC any credit for good intentions. Much of the PC stuff amounts to pure thuggish intimidation of the expression of opinions or even single words that someone else doesn't like. You can lose your job for the sake of being discovered in the commission of thought crimes in any variety of ways, many of which you couldn't predict in advance.

If you're going to work at nearly any normal office job in the United States [other countries may be worse or better], then you know you have a real narrow strip of appropriate government approved behavioral ground to tread as to acceptable outlooks to hold or express on a wide variety of topics. Sexual harassment laws especially can get you screwed every way but a good one.
