Grain USA "Over the Counter Culture"

Rock and roll and all who love her would have been better off if Grain USA, and all of their "pseudo" music were just a bad dream. If I could forget that I ever heard this album and move on with my life, I would indeed be a lucky man.

The vocals in this album are at no point on-key. These artists cannot play their instruments. Most bands, no matter how bad they are, have at least a few chords down pat. Believe it or not, Grain USA is not one of those bands. Their timing is off; their attempt at harmony is a danger to eardrums everywhere. In fact, there is not one good thing about this CD — except when it ended. Please, do rock and roll fans everywhere a favor and stop touring, playing, and doing anything else that involves music.

Lyrics- B+ (some good rhymes are included, doesn't save the album however.)

Objectionable Content- A (nothing objectionable that I could hear--would be nice to be able to understand a bit more of the lyrics, or have a lyric sheet included)

Overall Album- C- (A lack of talent puts this band at its low rating. Perhaps Grain USA could just write lyrics for bands that have talent?)
