Comment by Peter Cooper on The Cardigans: Long Gone Before Daylight

I love the new Cardigans album, but doesn't anyone think it sounds like 'The Cardigans does Sheryl Crow'? Some tracks are directly comparable with those on 'C'mon C'mon', particularly 'Live and Learn' which might as well have been written by Crow.

Luckily I'm a massive Sheryl Crow fan, so I'm okay with this, but it sounds like yet another U turn for this funky Swedish group ;-)

I've met The Cardigans and they like Matts Sundin as much as they like Black Sabbath. Way to go.

This is a great description of the band.
"Sweet yet melancholy."

Great review.
