<description>You mean the Seige of Baghdad. The military knows that attacking Baghdad directly in force will provoke MASSIVE world outcry. The only way that i see in my humble non military point of view is this will happen if Iraq uses WMD.
Going through Baghdad street by street is going to be a very costly manuver to our troops and allies. It will also add fuel to the fire of American hatred in the middle east. At the same time,a prolonged seige will endanger Iraqi civilians who will have no food or medical supplies. Bringing in supplies to the citizenry will only see them being confiscated by the soldiers so that they may continue the fight.
I hope that our strategists have thought of another option that i&#039;m not aware of.</description>
