Second GW law-suit takes an interesting tack

Great White are facing a second law suit following the recent fire at The Station club in Providence, Rhode Island, the death toll for which has now risen to 99. The suit has been filed against a number of people, including the band and the club?s owners, on behalf of six-year-old Zoe Jean Kingsley, whose mother Lisa Kelly died in the blaze.
from Marty: This will certainly play well if it goes to a jury. No one can accuse this kid of being greedy, with a straight face. What amazes me is how long it took for the suits to start flying.
What still gets me is the damn foam angle. I have been to many of this kind of dive reviewing gigs and have seen a few small fires due to shorts in electrical equipment. What the hell were the club owners thinking? This was an accident waiting to happen for sure.

It's not the foam thing, it's the defendants in the new lawsuit.... see here for more.
There's sueing the company that supplied the freaking BEER???????
I understand it's normal practice for lawyers to sue everyone in sight before anyone's established the facts, but this is ridiculous.

Marty's band, Growing Old Disgracefully, can be found at:
The more information that comes out makes it look as if it was the foam, not the band's pyro, that's the prime cause of the tragedy. The pyro may have started the fire, but it was the foam that killed. That club was a death trap.
So far, too many people have demonised the band and let the club owners off the hook. I wonder how much of this is fuelled by the percieved uncoolness of hair metal?
