Still, it is a quality program for this reason - the real talent does get to shine through. It's amazing that it can still happen, perhaps especially on FOX. Kelly Clarkson was a cutie with an awesome set of <s>headlights</s> pipes. To the extent that I cared, I felt glad she won. The complete rights and ownership base behind the whole enterprise, however, stinks. I think that was the one thing holding her career back oddly enough. Oh that and she isn't a slut.
