Blogcritics Radio Is Here!
Published March 08, 2003
We are very excited to introduce Blogcritics Radio. We have a super cool new streaming audio player provided by Andromeda, and we are going to feature one outstanding indie artist at a time for an entire week.
Just click here to bring up the player, then click on the green play button to let it rip. Once the tunes are humming, just click back on your browser to listen while you frolic through the fields of literary delight here on Blogcritics, now a truly multimedia experience.
Our inaugural artist is the mysterious Mobius Dick, rocking electronic beats through 15 songs of spunky funkiness to airy artiness - very fine electronica indeed!
- Techno/House with a danceable mix and a sly sense of humor. Mobius Dick is a techno band that takes technology seriously. Technology is the most important force in the world today. We say, don't rage against the machine — embrace the machine. But remember: as carbon-based life forms, we have an inherent, hardwired drive to DANCE!
Click here to check out the M. Dick site at MP3.com, where four CDs, including the latest Embrace the Machine, await your purchasing pleasure. You may also be able to find the artist in another guise here.
If you are an independent artist and would like to be featured on Blogcritics Radio, just send me a brief bio and the URL of your MP3's at ecolsen2003@cs.com

I would very much like to tune in, but it's a little hard when Winamp keeps re-buffering every five seconds...
This is exactly what us indies need, and more avenues like this.
I'm an indie promoter (start-up) in Sacramento CA. I am making waves, getting the product of the two indie Bay Area labels that I'm presently representing in stores here in Sac. The artists labels that I'm promoting have great potential to become the next mega hip hop artist (I can say I'm blessed with this opportunity).
I would like to be more effective for my clients Can Blogcritics help?
Preston, sure, what would you like us to do?

Cool idea! I'll tune in;-)
