Excuse but what exactly do you mean by "whatever happened to Babyface?" Were you being sarcastic? Just incase you werent joking, can i inform you that Babyface continues to produce, write and sing todays best in music. not only did he work on Anita Baker's latest album My Everything, on the best track on there but he wrote a beautiful tune for Janet Jackson on Damita Jo. He has also made a new album himself called A Love Story. He has been awarded numerous grammy's and awards all over the worrld and is critcally acclaimed in all fields of music, working with everyone in music, not just RnB and sampled and talked about in many Hip Hop songs. He has been working vwery hard for many many years since LA Reid. I think Babyface should be giiven his props when someone talks about him, even if it was just by-the-by, comments like that will get mis-interpretted like i have perhaps?! sorry to go off on one if i mis-read that. I just think if you are talking about LA Reid then you should mention how Babyface continues to be successful in his own way, as has LA Reid, though i think a bit too Pop-y. PINK? Avril L? awful music considering where he came from.

I read this article this morning, and thought about how Arista has changed from a real label which developed artists to a pump and dump hit outfit.

It is obvious that LA Reid won't be signing the Patti Smith's of the 21st century. And how stupid are the suits at BMG to pay Clive Davis to oust him, and then pay him more to come back?
