I'm a long-time subscriber to Sports Illustrated. Today, I was reading the current issue, March 3, 2003 (With Kobe Bryant on the cover....). I noticed the following line in the article A Madness To The Method:

Once a cryptic formula known only to the cognoscenti, the RPI has become a set of numbers that will, from now through Selection Sunday, March 16, dominate the blogosphere of the Web and the blabosphere of sports talk radio. (emphasis mine -ed)

The blogosphere got mentioned in SI of all places... and they adapted it to create a phrase for talk radio, the blabospere. Bill Quick must be proud.

I posted this at my site, but I figured a wider audience would get a kick out of it.
