Automobiles and Commercials

Last night I was watching Jay Leno and Connan O'Brian and I realized two stunning things.

First, every car commercial is the same. There are no distinguishing features between any of them. The music is the same, the items they advertise about the car is the same, how they show the car off is the same. And they've been that way for all the years of my life. Truck commercials are worse. Because In addition to doing the same thing as the car commercials, they insist on using very annoying pop-country music, too. The second thing I realized was that car commercials happen very frequently. It's impossible to escape them. Sitting through a half hour program will often result in seeing 5 of the suckers.

peace.
