Not "Everybody Wants to Rule the World"

Got to do a bunch of boring documentation here at work. I brought a bunch of CDs to combat the boredom.

I found my old Tears for Fears CD. NO, not Shout. Everyone knows that album.

I'm listening to Elemental. My favorite song is "Break it Down."
The Moses on a motorbike song. I really like it! I don't think it gets the credit it deserves.

"Shout" and "Everybody wants to rule the world" seem to be the songs by Tears for Fears that people remember. I don't really understand the appeal of "Everybody", but "Shout" is awesome.

Anyway, if you haven't heard this album, it's good.

Hmmm.. I've got 'Elemental' too - I'll have to dig it up again and give it a new listen. Always liked TfF... :)

Elemental is one of those albums that I simply cannot seem to live without. It got ripped to shreds by critics when it came out, but it has consistently been the one TfF album that I turn to immediately when I want to hear That Voice.

I will say, however, nothing on Elemental quite lives up to "Woman In Chains" from The Seeds Of Love. Man, is that a good song.

Totally agree. One of my local radio stations has been playing the song lately, heard it twice in the last week when I was driving my daughter to school. We both greatly enjoyed rocking out to it. I knew it was Tears for Fears but I couldn't remember the name. So I goggled moses on a motorbike and wound up here.

So hi!

But soft--
What light through yonder browser breaks?

It is the west! And Murphy is the sun!
