alright you guys, im going to give you the real definition of hardcore. hardcore started way way back before all these other bands were even started and before you were born in 1976, bands of this genre included, black flag, bad brains, misfits(although most would call horror punk)and many other underground bands, then durring the 80's bands like minor threat, fugzi, and rites of spring began to create a new kind of hardcore very simular to the earlier hardcore groups, as i side not i would like to point out that thrash was influenced by hardcore, metalica even admited to having the misfits as an influence, but i will say not to piss of you trash fans kill em all was a very good album now anywho, in 1992 a band called refused started there quest to make hardcore a new force to be recond with they made hardcore more complex and later gave it more of a post-hardcore sound, although this will hurt all you hatebreed fans all hatebreed did was take a small amount of hardcore and anded shitty ass metal to it,now a days hardcore is sadly and slowly dying, metalcore is begining to take control which isnt really a bad thing but an aquiered taste bands like throwdown, bleeing through, as i lay dying, and atreyu are becomeing more popular, so thank you for your time, oh and by the way who ever made those homophobic comments about ska fans your a fucking prick and if you said something like that at a real hardcore show you'd get your ass fucking stomped ska's not that bad its just not hardcore.
