Aunt Etta was quite surprised to receive a CD of Ellen Stekert's <i>Songs Of A New York Lumberjack</i> for her birthday last year. (I believe Stekert is now a professor at the University Of Minnesota.) It's great that the Smithsonian committed to keeping all this stuff available when they acquired the Folkways catalog.
