Better writing by him can also be found under the pseudonym of Stephen Bury ("Interface" & "The Cobweb"). I think it's a collaboration with someone else--someone that can write endings.

Man, this book was great. I just re-read it about six months ago. Have you read Zodiac? It might just be my favorite other than Cryptonomicon.
