The game contains a multiplayer element. It will support Gameranger (as will the demo), LAN play and a practice/training area. The multiplayer is very fast and furious. While not too different from Quake 3 or Unreal Tournament it will provide an interesting chance of scenery for jaded FPS player. There is an in game server browser in addition to its Gameranger support, Sin is still played by PC users online. Its online play is so good that it continues to have a significant following online.

While Sin/WoS is not the latest and greatest of First Person Shooters, it does hold up well against the competition. In contrast to some of the more recent FPS, there is a plot in solo play and, more importantly, it will take you a while to play the game to the end. There is enough of a plot and variety so that you will look forward to seeing what is around the next corner. A nice variety of levels means that it never seem too similar. Once you finish the game, it is fun to go back using a walkthrough and find all the things you missed. These may even include a complete level.

Contraband Entertainment have done a great port of this shooter. It would be a shame if was forgotten in the rush of new games. Sin/WoS is a lot of fun and the double package is great value for money. It is recommended for all Mac gamers but especially for those not able to handle the crushing system requirements of Rune or Deus Ex.
