Since Baldurs Gate II was released first on the PC, there are several sites that can help the Mac player through the many twist and turns or the plot. There are several walk-throughs available, many intricately thorough. As with many games of this type, no matter how careful you are, you always miss something. The walkthroughs are great for rehashing a level to see how much you actually found. As you would expect with this sort of release there is already an "official" guide book to the game available.

Overall Baldurs Gate II is a great RPG, and from the sales charts a popular one as well on the PC. However, it is not the easiest of game to play even on the lowest skill level (which can be changed while playing the game) and not the best introduction to computer RPGs. That said the game does drag at times and become a bit samey. BGII, as with most RPGs and unlike Diablo II, is not a game that ends quickly and the user will centainly get value for his money. If you have the time and the patience, Baldurs Gate II is a rewarding purchase.

Baldurs Gate II is yet another step towards the ultimate role play experience. It still is no where near as fun as getting together with a bunch of mates and a few beers to play AD&D, but is getting there. Kudos to MacPlay for bringing this AD&D game to the Mac, helping to plug the void that was RPG gaming on the platform.
