My favorite Monty Python, Eric Idle, has his first comedy album in years (not including Sings Monty Python) coming out in early March called The Rutland Isles. It's a parody of a travel documentary, with Idle as "Nigel Spasm, one of a long line of British men in shorts," who "visits remote places and brings you a look at the people, the flora and the sheep of the legendary Rutland Isles."

In case you haven't heard, the "Rutland Isles are a chain of extinct masonic islands in Melanoma, created millions of years ago when Norway rammed into Costa Rica and then went south for the weekend."

It's all amusing in an absurdist Python-y manner with jolly songs and single-entendres. It just came in today so I've only heard it through once, but already my favorite segment is "Penis Fish," which is a funny little bit, but mostly I like it because it reminds me of our kitten, Wenis, so named because his face looks exactly like a human member, so help me God. We thought "Wenis" a much kinder name than Dickface.
