Ellen DeGeneres was on Letterman tonight, doing stand up and an interview, and she was really funny. She did her bit about hi and lo tek and mentioned she had a site, but didn't really understand computers. It is good to see her back concentrating on being a comedian instead of a poster child for the little dutch boy. I'd really like to see her do some work like Bill Hicks.

However, Letterman needs to worry about praise inflation, he's now telling everybody they look great. She looked flabby and sloppy (she was wearing a sweatshirt) and messy. But she was very funny which is what counts.

I've always liked Ellen doing stand up, she is funny and likable - glad to hear she's back at it.
