Zingy and Nextel go polyphonic:

Polyphonic ring-tones are richer, fuller sounding compositions than traditional monophonic ring-tones — the jingles that play on cellphones.

"Polyphonic ring tones give our customers' phones a sophisticated and personalized sound," said Eileen Mercilliott, director of product management at Nextel. "Nextel users are successful and professional, but still value features that allow them to show a bit of personality in their communications."
