I don't listen to commercial radio and I don't have cable so I don't see music videos (do they still have channels where they show music videos? Just curious). My only exposure to pop music is on Saturday Night Live.

Last night, they had Avril Lavigne. The slant on last week's Grammy nominations was that she was like, punk rock. What I heard on SNL was a less tuneful version of Alanis Morrisette. Now, don't get me wrong, I like Alanis Morrisette, she's dead sexy in a Royal Family kinda way, plus she's rich and gives good head. She's inspired me to write my own Alanis song like Wesley Willis.
