I actually have no real complaint with the nominees - they are certainly a lot hipper than they used to be. The value of an individual Grammy may have been diluted with all of these damn categories, but at least they aren't as clueless as they used to be. I vote for Norah all the way.

That's going to be one mother of an awards ceremony...
It'll probably be much like the Oscars - "Awarded in a private ceremony earlier in the week were the following nine Grammys for various accomplishments in Classical music."








This list makes me realize how ignorant of "pop" culture I am.. I had to scroll down to Elvis Costello's 45 to find a song that I coudl recognize. They do get a tad hipper towards the end. Clinic's Walking with Thee was a good cd, Beck's sea change was great.. But, seriously, Clinic v. the New Flaming Lips? I don't see how they come up with their comparisons. Then again they don't call me "Indie" rock chick cuz I listen to Avril..
