Fallacci Still Standing With The Jews
Published December 02, 2002
I find it shameful that, in giving the number of Israelis killed since the beginning of the Second Intifada (four hundred twelve), a noted daily newspaper found it appropriate to underline in capital letters that more people are killed in their traffic accidents. (Six hundred a year).
I find it shameful that the Roman Observer, the newspaper of the Pope--a Pope who not long ago left in the Wailing Wall a letter of apology for the Jews--accuses of extermination a people who were exterminated in the millions by Christians. By Europeans. I find it shameful that this newspaper denies to the survivors of that people (survivors who still have numbers tattooed on their arms) the right to react, to defend themselves, to not be exterminated again.
I find it shameful that in the name of Jesus Christ (a Jew without whom they would all be unemployed), the priests of our parishes or Social Centers or whatever they are flirt with the assassins of those in Jerusalem who cannot go to eat a pizza or buy some eggs without being blown up.
I find it shameful that they are on the side of the very ones who inaugurated terrorism, killing us on airplanes, in airports, at the Olympics, and who today entertain themselves by killing western journalists. By shooting them, abducting them, cutting their throats, decapitating them. (There's someone in Italy who, since the appearance of Anger and Pride, would like to do the same to me. Citing verses of the Koran he exorts his "brothers" in the mosques and the Islamic Community to chastise me in the name of Allah. To kill me. Or rather to die with me. Since he's someone who speaks English well, I'll respond to him in English: "Fuck you.").... There is more, more, more. Sing it, sister. That's my kind of leftist.
Of her book, "A Reader From the Midwest" writes in Amazon:
- Brutally frank and fiery, this is a loud call-to-arms for those who don't believe that Western Culture is at war with Islam/The Jihad. Unabashedly pro-American & pro-Western, Fallaci pulls no punches and even takes on the Pope as kowtowing to the Isamic world. And for those who have been to Florence and seen its public spaces despoiled by foreign sellers of junk, her section on Italian cowardice vis-à-vis illegal immigrants is a revelation. She dares to say what many people think; her intimate journalist's knowledge of Arafat and Islamic countries gives the book great weight and authority.

As a Christian who visited Israel and got first hand experience with the Arab lifestyle and attitude I couldn't agree more with what Catroina said in a previous comment: "God bless Fallaci !
her statements shouldda been required reading in all our leftist universities since the college professas are tooooooooooo stupid to have any clue or grasp of islamofascism.
my sorry to all still living in dhimmitude in eurabia."
I just read "the end of faith" by Sam Harris and followed it with Fallaci's "the force of reason".
These two should be required readind for everyone who speaks english, wants an egalitarian society
in which women participate, anyone who doesn't think the 13th century was fun for people with minds...
for everyone who wants to maintain our european/american culture. With it's flaws, it's still the best going.
Thank you Sam. Thank you Orianna. Keep it up.
