Snake River Who?

Recently, the music news went out saying that the ex-drummer of Orgy, Bobby Hewitt , has officially left the band to join his twin brother Fab in with Snake River Conspiracy... Now, some people might be saying, "Snake Who??" - If you went to see A Perfect Circle's tour last year, you might have seen them open up the show.. But I heard about them long before those things happened, I heard about SRC about 2 or 3 years ago as I walked out of a Lords Of Acid show and was handed a tape with 2 of their songs from their CD 'Sonic Jihad' .... One of the songs, 'Vulcan', has the sexy lead singer (Tobey Torres) screaming 'Fuck!!!' with a hard driving guitar and bass line - The songs are written by ex-Third Eye Blind bassist, Jason Slater and he is a great songwriter! SRC manages to do some great covers also, with 'Love Song' (The Cure), and 'How Soon Is Now' (The Smiths) - SRC brings their own version and pulls them off. The sound on 'Sonic Jihad' is a NIN-Ministry-Garbage mix, mostly on the electronic side.. Upon viewing their new web site, they're currently working on a new album, and I was glad to hear that their first song, 'Hide', still retains the same feel of 'Sonic Jihad', but adds more of a better balance of electronics and guitars. I'm looking forward to hearing their new album, but currently they're not signed (WB/Reprise dropped them) and I hope they sign up on a label that's good to them - I'd love to see this band stick around!

I thought it was interesting, a little further in the news on their site, that they were writing songs with a former member of Sponge...one of the most underraited bands from the mid 90's.

I was just wondering where you can find 'she said she said' and 'coke and vaseline' on CD. They aren't on sonic jihad.
