There should be 15 links to the albums on Amazon.com. I'm not sure what happened to them.

Great list, inspired eclecticism. Re the ASINs: you can only do 10 max (sometimes only 9 if it's feeling cranky), and you have to separate them with a comma - no space, no line break.

I’m fascinated by the convergence/divergence of our tastes. Of your top fifteen, I resonate with the Traveling Wilburys, Elvis Costello, Paul McCartney, Miles Davis, Bob Dylan, John Prine, The Beatles, and James Brown.

I don't know Superdrag, Supergrass, Eels or Self (I’ll check them out). Never got the hang of Ben Folds or John Hartford.

Thanks for the info re: ASINs, Eric. I originally wanted to do a top 10, but the decisions became just too difficult and I gave in to fifteen.

AKMA: You've probably heard Self and were not aware of it. Have you seen Shrek? The first song of the credits (first song of the soundtrack)is by Self, as is the Expedia.com commerical jingle/hook. I have to confess that I know these guys personally, but that's not why they made the list. It's great music.
