Ryan Adams had the great good fortune to shoot a video in NYC days before 9/11, and then the sense to publicize that fact in the video after it was released. No slam on him, I am sure it wasn't planned that way, I wouldn't even call it exploitative, but it sure didn't hurt him any. ]]>

The guy with the painstakingly tussled hair is Ryan Adams formerly of Golden Smog and Whiskeytown. While similiar in style to Jeff Tweedy and Jay Farrar...this smug little prick is a world-class a-hole...as can be seen by him smirking through the GAP ad. So you can get an idea of the type of guy he is. He played an entire show in London with his back to the crowd, and lighting at a minimum. While I like his music, I think he's overrated, particularly when compared to other "alt-country" stars. ]]>
