Life of Agony has announced a one-time only reunion show to be held at Irving Plaza, New York City, on January 3, 2003.

The show will feature the original Brooklyn-born lineup of Keith Caputo, Joey Z., Alan Robert and Sal Abruscato and it is rumored that the concert will be recorded for a future album.

Life of Agony blasted on to the New York metal scene in the late 80's, but did not release their debut album,River Runs Red - a hard-driven emotional tour through depression and suicide - until 1993. They followed up in 1995 with Ugly, which was more melodic, but no less emotional. In 1997, LOA released Soul Searching Sun, a breezy, acoustic-heavy departure from their previous heavy sounds. Two out of three ain't bad. They also released 1989-1999, a compilation of live and unreleased cuts.

Recommended listening:
River Runs Red: Stain Remains
Ugly: Lost at 22
Soul Searching Sun: Well, if you have to, listen to Weeds
1989-1999: Plexiglass Gate
